Project overview
This project will rehabilitate roughly 15 miles of southbound US 395 from approximately the town of Lind at Lind Coulee Bridge to approximately the town of Ritzville at the I-90/US 395 interchange in Adams County. The interchanges, both northbound and southbound, at SR 21, Paha-Packard Road, and I-90 will also be rehabilitated as a part of this project. Once the project is completed by grinding and inlaying new HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) of both lanes and shoulders, the roadway surface will have a smoother ride that will be preserved for years to come.
What to expect
The traveling public should expect single lane closures and short-term ramp closures throughout the duration of this project. Roadway planning and paving through SR 21 and Paha Packard Road interchanges will require short-term ramp closures. Daytime closure hours are limited to 20 minutes. Nighttime closures, between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m., are limited to four hours. Consecutive ramps will not be closed on the same night.
