Starting Monday, July 16, travelers will see nighttime lane and ramp closures on SR 16, west of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge in Gig Harbor. More detailed information will be available as schedules are confirmed.
Project overview
These paving projects will cover locations across seven communities in Kitsap, Mason, Thurston and Pierce counties. Crews will repave sections of damaged pavement on Interstate 5, US 101, state routes 3, 16, 410 and 512. Additional work includes permanent striping, drainage repair and sign updates.
Pavement preservation work will maintain the structural integrity of these sections of roadway for years to come.
