Project overview
This project will replace culverts under US 101 in Clallam and Jefferson Counties.
What to expect
Work is complete at the four sites south of Forks.
At the site near Wisen Creek Road east of Forks, crews worked through summer 2024 to complete a bridge on westbound US 101. One lane of traffic is open on the new bridge. Eastbound US 101 remains on a temporary bypass lane.
Travelers will see a reduced 40 mph speed limit on US 101 between mileposts 208.8 and 209.88.
This speed limit will remain in effect until crews return in late spring 2025 to build the eastbound bridge. During active construction, the speed limit will again be reduced to 25 mph.
